Reynolds (hand) is likely out for the rest of the season, Patrick Saunders of the Denver Post reports.

Reynolds was hit by a pitch in the left hand Sunday, and the veteran first baseman reportedly knew it was bad as soon as the injury occurred. He's slated to be reevaluated Monday to find out whether the ailment requires surgery, but regardless, Reynolds will not likely return this season. The 33-year-old will finish the season with 14 home runs, 53 RBI and a career-high .282 batting average, which could appeal to some teams looking for a right-handed power bat in the offseason -- although much of that production came at Coors Field.
