Sanchez (3-4) allowed four runs on six hits, including two homers, over six innings in Saturday's loss to the Orioles. He also struck out four and walked three.
The veteran right-hander couldn't keep the ball in the park last season, and he's having the same problem this year. After leading the league with 29 homers allowed last season, Sanchez has given up eight bombs over eight outings in 2016. Since the start of last year, he has an awful 1.67 HR/9 ratio. In 2014, he was ranked third in all of baseball with a 0.45 HR/9 rate. Sanchez will try to get himself corrected in his next start Friday against the Rays.
