Tigers' Jordan Zimmermann: Leaves game with apparent injury

Zimmermann left Sunday's matchup against the Rays due to an apparent injury, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Zimmermann appeared to tweak something after a sixth-inning pitch, and was shortly replaced by Drew VerHagen in the contest. Prior to exiting, Zimmermann had completed 5.2 innings, allowing two earned runs on five hits and striking out three.
