Santana (6-2) allowed five runs on six hits and four walks while striking out just three batters over seven innings during Thursday's loss to Colorado.

Santana has pitched at least six innings in every start this season, and Thursday's outing was just the second time he allowed more than one run in an outing. It's been an impressive early-season run, but his 4.37 FIP suggests rougher times are likely ahead. Additionally, his 6.5 K/9 hardly moves the fantasy needle. Still, Santana is a solid fantasy own as long as expectations are kept in check going forward. He projects to make his next start against the Orioles at Camden Yards.
