Lawrie (hamstring) will get his hamstring checked out Friday as he undergoes an MRI after being ruled out of the game against the Tigers, J.J. Stankevitz of CSN Chicago reports.
Lawrie apparently didn't feel the greatest when he arrived to the ballpark, and he will get the left hamstring looked at. He left the game Thursday and will be replaced at second by Tyler Saladino for Friday's game. This seems to signal that Lawrie's injury is worse than it was originally believed to be.
