Nova allowed four runs in five innings in a no-decision against the Rangers on Monday. He surrendered six hits, walked three, and struck out four.
Nova has not had a June to remember. This month he has recorded just one quality start and has failed to complete six innings in any of his last three starts. The 29-year-old has allowed at least one home run in each of his last 10 starts, bringing his ERA to an inflated 5.32. His next start will come Saturday against the Padres.
