Yankees place Slade Heathcott on DL, call up Ramon Flores

The Yankees placed center fielder Slade Heathcott on the 15-day disabled list on Friday. Heathcott was scratched from Thursday's game with a grade-two quad strain. 

To replace him on the roster, the Yankees called up outfielder Ramon Flores , who was hitting .294 with four home runs and 15 RBI at Triple-A Scranton.
