Patty Mills remains a nice spark plug off the bench for the Spurs, but it's fair to wonder if he will ever be capable of taking on a bigger role. Mills averaged 8.5 points, 2.0 rebounds and 2.8 assists per game in 20.5 minutes per game last season, and continues to be a nice source of instance offense against opposing second units. However, with Tony Parker looking more and more limited every year, there might be a chance for Mills to earn a larger role this season. You won't need to invest a draft pick in Mills, but if Parker's minutes start slipping early, it might make some sense to snag Mills on waivers.
