Marshall (knee) was recalled Friday from the Sixers' D-League affiliate, the Delaware 76ers, Marc Spears of Yahoo! Sports reports.

Marshall reported to Delaware in the first half of November to continue his rehab from a torn right ACL in a more controlled setting, as the NBA team's practices weren't an ideal environment for the point guard to work his way back to full health. Though he's taken longer than expected to recover from the serious knee injury, Marshall's recall could signal that he's ready to ramp up his activity in practices with the 76ers. Keith Pompey of the Philadelphia Inquirer is reporting that Marshall is looking to make his season debut within the next week or two, but the 76ers aren't likely to formally etch out a target date for the 24-year-old until witnessing him in at least a few practices. Once he returns, Marshall will likely be held to a minutes restriction, and with Tony Wroten and T.J. McConnell around to vie for playing time at point guard, it's far from guaranteed that Marshall will see a regular role in coach Brett Brown's rotation.
