Bayless scored 13 points (4-8 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 2-3 FT) and added four assists, four steals, and four rebounds over 36 minutes in Wednesday's loss to the Kings.
Bayless got off to a hot start by drilling all three of his three-point attempts in the first half, and ended up seeing the majority of the run at point guard in the second half while Michael Carter-Williams struggled with his shot. For two games in a row, Bayless has outpaced Carter-Williams for playing time, suggesting that his presence on the bench won't necessarily kill his fantasy value. Coach Jason Kidd has shown a willingness to lean heavily on his reserves for extended stretches this season, with Bayless being chief among them.
