Butler posted 13 points (2-5 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 8-9 FT), three rebounds, one assist, one steal and one block across 15 minutes in Monday's 93-91 preseason loss to the Bucks.

The Bulls added a pair of high-profile additions in Dwyane Wade and Rajon Rondo this offseason, but both have conceded that Butler is the team's go-to player. While one preseason game is far from a reliable sample, Butler did indeed work as the team's alpha dog during his time on the court, attempting five shots to Wade's three and Rondo's two. It's likely that Butler's offensive numbers will regress to some degree this season while he plays alongside Wade and Rondo, but he should still make for a respectable early-round target.
