Irving is dealing with some tightness in his left calf and will not return to Tuesday's game against the Wizards, Joe Gabriele of Cavs.com reports. He finished the game playing just 10 minutes, while going scoreless (0-3 FG), with one rebound, two assists and two turnovers.

The severity of the injury has yet to be released, but considering it's just being listed as tightness, Irving likely won't be held out for long. Tuesday's outing marks the final game on the Cavaliers' preseason schedule, so Irving's next opportunity to take the court will be the regular season opener versus the Knicks on Oct. 25. That gives Irving roughly a week to get back to full strength, although we'll likely see his status updated over the next few days.
