Irving (knee) will be sidelined for Saturday's tilt against the Clippers for rest, Joe Gabriele of Cavs.com reports.
Coach Tyronn Lue has opted to rest Irving, LeBron James, and Kevin Love for Saturday's game. Deron Williams will draw the start in Irving's place, and all remaining available members of the Cavaliers should see significantly extra workload. With Irving dealing with a minor knee issue anyway, coach Lue is likely playing it safe.
