Cavaliers just-signed power forward Tristan Thompson will play in the season opener Tuesday against Chicago.
Thompson, who came to terms with the team Wednesday, did not practice and questions have arisen about whether or not he's in game shape, Look for him to come off the bench behind Kevin Love and Timofey Mozgov in the frontcourt.
