Green will draw the start for Thursday's Game 3 against the Wizards, replacing Amir Johnson, Steve Bulpett of the Boston Herald reports.
The Celtics will return to the smaller starting lineup that they featured for the second half of their first-round matchup against the Bulls, inserting Green in place of Amir Johnson and moving Jae Crowder up to the power forward slot. In the playoffs, Green is averaging 7.5 points on 43.6 percent shooting from the field and 39.1 percent from the three-point line across 15.8 minutes per game, though could see a workload closer to the 20-to-25 minute range Thursday.
