Grizzlies GM Chris Wallace noted Wednesday that Adams (knee) was "progressing," but the swingman remains without a timetable for a return, Ronald Tillery of the Memphis Commercial Appeal reports.
While it's good to hear that Adams is showing improvement on some level, the sparseness of updates thus far in the his recovery process from arthroscopic right knee surgery in January doesn't offer much encouragement that he'll be back before the season ends in mid-April. If healthy, Adams would likely be in line for plenty of playing time with the Grizzlies dealing with a number of injuries at the moment, but unfortunately, staying on the court has been a major issue for the 21-year-old throughout his two seasons in the NBA.
