Heat center Hassan Whiteside (calf) remained absent from Saturday's practice, Ethan J. Skolnick of the Miami Herald reports.
Whiteside has been out of commission for over a week with the injury, but expects to return to practice at some point in the coming days. It's quite likely he'll sit out a third straight exhibition game when Miami hosts San Antonio on Monday, but he could make his preseason debut by next weekend if his recovery goes as anticipated.
