Heat's Justise Winslow: Recovering from surgery ahead of schedule

Coach Erik Spoelstra said Friday that Winslow (shoulder) is ahead of schedule in his recovery from season-ending surgery to repair a torn right labrum, which he underwent back in January, Anthony Chiang of the Palm Beach Post reports.

Winslow isn't under consideration to return later in the regular season or the playoffs in the event the Heat qualify, but it's excellent news for his long-term prospects nonetheless. The second-year forward is on track to be back at full health for the start of training camp, as he's already shed the sling on his right shoulder and was able to do some light shooting Friday.
