Kings' Willie Cauley-Stein: Replaces Koufos in starting lineup

Cauley-Stein reentered the starting lineup Monday against the Spurs, finishing with four points (2-3 FG), six rebounds, and one steal over 22 minutes.

Cauley-Stein replaced Kosta Koufos at center to form a frontcourt tandem with DeMarcus Cousins (Achilles), who returned to action after missing the previous four games. Despite receiving the starting nod, Cauley-Stein was actually outpaced in minutes by Koufos (26), and it seems likely the two players could swap in and out of the lineup frequently as coach George Karl looks to settle on an optimal starting five with the Kings off to a dismal 1-7 start.
