Green (back) has been ruled out for Friday's game against the Celtics and Saturday's game against the Nets, Josh Robbins of the Orlando Sentinel reports.
Green isn't traveling with the Magic as they kick off a three-game road trip, but there's still a possibility that he'll rejoin the team in Cleveland for Tuesday's game against the Cavaliers, though he'll need to show some improvement with his back over the weekend. The reserve big man has already missed four games with the injury, and it wouldn't be surprising if the non-contending Magic decided to shut him down. Green will become a free agent this offseason and isn't a lock to be retained, so holding him out down the stretch could continue to open up more minutes off the bench for former lottery pick Mario Hezonja.
