Mavericks' Dirk Nowitzki: Scores team-high 23 points in Sunday's win

Nowitzki supplied 23 points (9-17 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 2-3 FT) and nine rebounds in 27 minutes during Sunday's 111-104 win over the Nets.

Nowitzki has posted at least 20 points in four of the last seven games. Furthermore, his current March averages of 17.0 points (on 51.1 percent shooting) and 7.6 rebounds per game are season bests besides October, in which he scored 22 points and grabbed eight boards in the lone contest. For as long as the Mavericks are alive in the playoff race, expect Nowitzki to remain a focal point of the offense.
