Nuggets' Joffrey Lauvergne: Expected to sit Wednesday

Lauvergne is nursing a back injury and isn't expected to play Wednesday against the Trail Blazers, Chris Dempsey of the Denver Post reports.

Back problems have cropped up periodically for Lauvergne throughout the season, and it looks like the Nuggets are leaning toward erring on the side of caution and keeping him out with nothing to play for in the season finale. Darrell Arthur (knee) and Kenneth Faried (coach's decision) are also doubtful to play, so the Nuggets could end up being quite shorthanded up front.
