Hill has agreed to a four-year, $52 million contract with the Pelicans, The Vertical's Adrian Wojnarowski reports.

Hill's $2.3 million team option was declined by the Pacers earlier this offseason, but now he'll earn an average of $13 million per season in New Orleans. Only 25 years old, the former first-rounder showed the ability to play both small forward and power forward last season, which should allow him to help the Pelicans replace free agent Ryan Anderson. After losing minutes during the regular season, Hill garnered added run during Indiana's seven-game postseason series against Toronto, averaging 7.7 points, 4.0 rebounds and 1.6 three-pointers in 28.3 minutes per game, and will look to make a similar impact with a more significant role in his new setting.
