Ellenson was recalled Sunday from the D-League's Grand Rapids Drive, Rod Beard of The Detroit News reports.
The Pistons brought back Ellenson and Michael Gbinije from a week-long stint in D-League, but neither are expected to crack the team's rotation upon their return. With Ellenson third on the depth chart at power forward behind Tobias Harris and Jon Leuer, he'll need an injury to occur before receiving regular run.
