Carroll will sit out either Friday or Saturday for rest, Josh Lewenberg of TSN reports.
Carroll will continue to sit out during one game in back-to-back matches, like he did Monday against the Clippers after recording 33 minutes Sunday against the Kings. While Carroll has been sidelined, Norman Powell has replaced him in the starting lineup and will likely continue to do so during one game either Friday or Saturday.
