Forbes was recalled from the D-League's Austin Spurs on Monday.
After a one-game stint with Austin to pick up more playing time, Forbes will rejoin the Spurs in time for Monday's game against the Cavaliers. He'll function as the team's third-string point guard while Dejounte Murray (groin) remains out, but isn't expected to see the floor if the contest is competitive.
