Rubio (ankle) is active, but will not play Friday, Jerry Zgoda of the Star Tribune reports.
Rubio aggravated his ankle in Wednesday's game, and received treatment immediately following it. He was questionable heading into Friday, but will not be able to go. Minnesota likely wants Rubio to rest and get fully healed so they can avoid it becoming a lingering problem. His next chance to play will be Sunday in Los Angeles versus the Clippers. Expect an update on his status prior to then.
