Connaughton will sit out Thursday's preseason game against the Clippers due to a shoulder injury, Casey Holdahl of Blazers.com reports.
The extent of Connaughton's injury remains uncertain, but it'll prevent him from seeing any minutes Thursday. Connaughton isn't expected to be more than a deep reserve option on the wing for the Trail Blazers during the upcoming campaign, which means he likely won't be worth a look in the majority of season-long fantasy leagues.
