Green suffered a left ankle injury in the third quarter of Wednesday's 125-121 Game 5 win over the Trail Blazers, the San Jose Mercury News reports. He would remain in the game and finished the night with 13 points (2-7 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 8-10 FT) to go with 11 rebounds, six assists, two steals and a blocked shot in 36 minutes.

Green sustained the injury when he was fouled on a drive to the basket, and ultimately needed to get his ankle taped up in the locker room. After testing things out on the sideline, Green was cleared to return and ended in the night with a typically full stat line. Green added after the game that he's hurt the same ankle a few times during the postseason, so he should benefit from some downtime with the Warriors clinching the series and now awaiting the winner of the Spurs and Thunder in the Western Conference Finals. The Thunder currently hold a 3-2 series lead, but should the Spurs win Thursday and force a Game 7, the Warriors would be off the schedule until May 18.
