Zach Ertz ended the 2015 season on a high note, and as a result he earned a five-year contract extension with the Eagles worth $42.5 million, including $20 million guaranteed. We hope he picks up where last season ended when he had 35 catches for 450 yards and a touchdown in his final four games. That might be a bit tougher to pull off, as Ertz established a nice rapport with Sam Bradford, who was traded to the Vikings on the eve of the season. Ertz finished the year with 75 catches for 853 yards and two touchdowns, with the catches and yards career-high marks, and he was the No. 10 tight end in standard leagues. The reception total was sixth-best among tight ends, and the yards were No. 7. All he needs now is the touchdown total to rise, and he could be a top five option this year. We consider Ertz a No. 1 tight end coming into the season, though he might be a bit riskier catching passes from the unproven Chase Daniel.
