Carrington (undisclosed) was waived/injured by the Texans on Tuesday, the Houston Chronicle reports.

Carrington signed with Houston just one week ago, but had been sidelined for undisclosed reasons during the majority of his stay. The injury is presumed to be related to the season-ending quadriceps tear he suffered in 2015, since his contract included an accompanying injury waiver. Thus, his release terminates the one-year, $760,000 contract he inked last Tuesday as he was unable to remain healthy.
