White's teammates expect him to miss extended time with the ankle injury suffered Sunday against Detroit, NFL.com's Ian Rapoport reports.
Bears head coach John Fox hasn't commented on the extent of White's injury and the results of Monday's MRI have not been publicly disclosed, but it sounds as though White will miss multiple weeks. In his absence, Eddie Royal is likely to see extra targets opposite Alshon Jeffery, while it's reasonable to think that the Bears may also utilize tight end Zach Miller more frequently.
