Forte (knee) was limited at Friday's practice and is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Broncos, NFL Network's James Palmer reports.
Forte missed Thursday's practice but was limited Wednesday and Friday. He said that he should be back "soon", though he didn't specify if he actually expects to be available for Sunday. Even if he does return, Forte presumably wouldn't handle his usual every-down role right away, as his knee probably isn't quite at full strength and Jeremy Langford has been very effective. In fact, Langford has been so good that he may cut into Forte's workload even after the injury is removed from the equation. It's also worth noting that the Bears play the Packers on Thanksgiving, which could lead to a more cautious approach for Sunday's inter-conference matchup with the Broncos.
