Maualuga (fibula) is not expected to play Monday night against the Giants, ESPN's Adam Caplan reports.
Maualuga, who hasn't missed a game all season, has now sat out two straight practices with an unspecified injury to his fibula and may be in line for a multi-week absence. If he's ultimately unavailable to play, look for veteran Vinny Rey to draw the start.
