Poyer (kidney) has signed with the Bills on the first day of free agency.

The Bills lost two starters Thursday, as stud corner Stephon Gilmore signed with the Patriots and Aaron Williams (neck) was let go, but they instantly found some replacements in safeties Poyer and Micah Hyde. The Bills do have Corey Graham as another veteran safety, so it's unclear right now if Poyer will have a chance to start or if he'll provide valuable depth. Poyer suffered a lacerated kidney for the Browns in 2016, but he's at the end of the expected injury period, meaning he should be fine once practices start up.
