The Bills placed Harvin (knee) on injured reserve Saturday, Sal Capaccio of WGR 550 Buffalo reports.
Harvin has battled knee and hip injuries for several weeks and has not shown any marked improvement, so the Bills decided to place him on injured reserve to open up a roster spot for Leodis McKelvin. With Harvin sidelined, Robert Woods officially becomes the No. 2 receiver opposite Sammy Watkins (ankle) the rest of the way.
