Sanders (ankle) isn't expected to play Sunday against the Chiefs, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
After failing to log any practice reps all week, Sanders was believed to be a game-time call for the Broncos' 4:25 PM ET kickoff. Barring a change, though, he'll take a seat Sunday, leaving Demaryius Thomas to take on the bulk of Peyton Manning's attention. Sanders' absence should allow the TE trio of Owen Daniels (shoulder), Vernon Davis, and Virgil Green (finger) to be consistent factors in the offense.
