Ward was ejected from Sunday's game against the Chiefs for launching a helmet-to-helmet hit on wide receiver Jeremy Maclin while he tried to block on a run play, ESPN.com reports. Ward also took a swing at Maclin while they were on the ground, and he faces a suspension from the league.

If Ward, who came into Sunday's game with 47 tackles, two sacks and two forced fumbles in seven games this season, does get hit with a suspension, David Bruton could start in his place Week 11 against the Bears.
