Johnson managed three tackles (two solo) during Sunday's loss to the Seahawks.
Making his first appearance since Week 14, Johnson logged only 39 of 72 defensive snaps, which suggests that he may still be tending to an injured ankle. The Cardinals have a bye week at their disposal to recover before taking the field in the divisional round on Jan. 16. At that point, Johnson should be able to handle a full workload at strong safety, though newcomer D.J. Swearinger will be around to fill in any cracks on the back end of the defense.
