Woodhead (right knee) has been ruled out of Sunday's game against the Jaguars.
After he was tackled in awkward fashion at the conclusion of a reception in the first quarter, Woodhead was unable to walk off the field under his own power and promptly took a cart to the locker room. An official diagnosis has yet to emerge, but Alex Marvez of Sports Illustrated reports that the Chargers are hopeful it's merely an MCL sprain. In any case, Philip Rivers has seemingly lost another top pass-catcher for an extended period.
