Perryman (hamstring) is expected to be sidelined for this week's contest against the Titans, Michael Gehlken of the San Diego Union-Tribune reports.

Gehlken went on to suggest Perryman could "require weeks of rest" to heal his injured hamstring, meaning the Chargers may opt to rest their starting inside linebacker for more than just Sunday's game. Given the Chargers have already lost one inside linebacker for the year in Manti Te'o (Achilles) and could be without rookie Jatavis Brown (knee) for multiple weeks, the prognosis couldn't have come at a worse time. A combination of Joshua Perry, Korey Toomer and Kyle Emanuel likely will fill out the inside linebacker spots if, and likely when, the Chargers rule out both Perryman and Brown, but it remains to be seen how long either player will be kept out with the Week 11 bye just around the corner.
