Rivers completed 21 of 35 passes for 228 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's 27-20 loss to the Broncos. He also threw an interception and gained five yards on two rushes.

The 34-year-old finished off the season in relatively quiet fashion, no small surprise considering the decimated condition of his receiving corps. After Malcolm Floyd exited his final game early with a concussion, Rivers was once again down to rookies Tyrell Williams and Javontee Herndon, and second-year pro Dontrelle Inman, as his primary receivers. Despite pass-catchers Keenan Allen, Stevie Johnson and Antonio Gates all missing significant time either to injuries or suspension in 2015, Rivers remarkably amasssed a career-high 4,792 yards passing on the season. His 29:12 TD:INT ratio also qualifies as one of the best of his 12-year NFL tenure, and Rivers would appear equipped to bounce back strongly next year with what will certainly be a healthier set of weapons.
