Swearinger was released by the Buccaneers on Tuesday, Greg Auman of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
A 2013 second-round draft pick, Swearinger has rightfully earned a reputation for delivering big hits. Of course, many of those hits have been illegal, and his work in pass coverage leaves much to be desired. He may have to wait until next season to get another look from an NFL team.
