Taylor was released by the Seahawks on Thursday, Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times reports.
The Seahawks decided to part ways with Taylor in order to sign tight end Brandon Cottom. The running back signed a future contract with the team in January, but he failed to stand out among the other 10 rushers currently on Seattle's roster.
