The Jets activated Reynolds from their practice squad reserve/COVID-19 list Monday and subsequently released him, Ethan Greenberg of the team's official website reports.
Reynolds recorded one solo tackle on 15 special-teams snaps in Week 16 before reverting to the practice squad and landing on the COVID list. He will now be forced to look for a new landing spot.
