Leonard Hankerson: Waived by Patriots

Hankerson was waived by the Patriots on Saturday, NFL.com's Ian Rapoport reports.

Hankerson's brief stint with New England came to an end Saturday after playing just 10 snaps in the team's Week 15 win over Tennessee. However, Rapoport noted in his report that the Patriots would likely attempt to re-sign Hankerson should he clear waivers, so this may not be the last we see of Hankerson in a New England uniform.
