Panthers' Mike Tolbert: Picks up four carries in Week 12

Tolbert saw four carries and gained 16 yards in Thursday's win over the Cowboys.

The Panthers found themselves in two goal-line scenarios during the game, but Tolbert's number wasn't called on either occasion. Instead, Tolbert ended up seeing all of his carries when the Panthers were holding a double-digit lead, as coach Ron Rivera decided to go with a heavy dose of Jonathan Stewart and Cam Newton on the ground when the game was still competitive. Tolbert hasn't recorded more than seven carries in a game this season and can't be counted on to return value in any given week when he doesn't receive a goal-line opportunity.
