Raiders backup quarterback Matt McGloin was thrust into action against the Bengals on Sunday after starter Derek Carr left the game with a hand injury.

McGloin stepped into the role and completed 23 of 31 passes for 142 yards, two touchdowns and an interception. McGloin completed two touchdown passes to fullback Marcel Reece late in the fourth quarter when the game was out of reach.

The Raiders will play the Ravens Week 2.
