Compton was signed to the Raiders' active roster Saturday.
Compton is a nine-year veteran who has bounced around the league a bit since he left Washington after the 2017 season. With Denzel Perryman and Nick Kwiatkoski both out Sunday against the Chiefs due to ankle injuries, Compton will have a chance to fill a significant role in the Raiders' linebacker unit.
