Rams' Nelson Spruce: Signs with Rams

Spruce signed with the Rams as an undrafted free agent Tuesday, Jack Wang of the Los Angeles Daily News reports.

Spruce followed a monster junior season (105 receptions for 1,200 yards and 12 touchdowns) with a bit of a down year in 2015, recording just 84 catches for 942 yards and three touchdowns. Weighing in at 6-foot-1, 206 pounds, Spruce has proved himself to be a reliable option in his time at Colorado, dropping just three passes in his last 288 targets. While he lacks an explosive skill set, he'll look to add depth to a young Rams receiving corps led by Tavon Austin and Kenny Britt.
